Alexander Lukin is currently a senior lecturer in political science at the Moscow State Institute for Foreign Affairs (MGIMO), a research fellow at MGIMO’s Center for International Studies, and a research associate at Harvard University’s John K. Fairbank Center for East Asian Research. He previously worked in the Soviet Foreign Ministry, and was twice a candidate for the Russian State Duma.
