Iliya Harik

Iliya Harik, professor of political science at Indiana University, has conducted field research in Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, and Lebanon. He is the author of Politics and Change in a Traditional Society (1968), The Political Mobilization of Peasants (1974), The Political Elites of Lebanon (1972; in Arabic), and The Illusive Path to Development: Economic Policies and Reform in Egypt (forthcoming).
