Vesna Pešić is director of the Center for Anti-War Action in Belgrade, Serbia. Active for more than two decades in movements favoring democracy and human rights, she was a founding member of the Belgrade Helsinki Committee and of the Association for a Yugoslav Democratic Initiative.
